In "He Wrote 200,000 Books (but Computers Did Some of the Work)" you can read about the university professor who came up with an idea of a computer algorithm which produces books... and I must admit the track record of 200.000 books is astonishing.
A colleague of mine just showed me this brilliant piece of software. SCIgen is a program that generates random Computer Science research papers, including graphs, figures, and citations. Have a go yourself here.
