Applied Marketing

Found that on forum here and decided to share that masterpiece of aggressive marketing with the rest of the world.
All started in 2007 with BMW posting this add in the press


Audi didn't want to be a long time coming and replied swiftly with this add


The whole war would probably go to a natural end with the last add from Audi but there were some other copycats and freeloaders who wanted to ride the advertisement wave. Below are examples from Subaru

It would have gone probably for ever like this if there wouldn't have been this add from Bentley. It was senseless to post anything else after that statement :-)


Actually after having taught at the business school I would advocate including this example into the material for business students - funny, beneficial and will definitely get caught in the student's head.
