To PhD or not to PhD, that is the question

I wished I have read this before I agreed to do it... I could have saved me so much lack of emphais in my life, so much frustations and could have won so much joys of life. Yeah I am talking about the well known syndrom of Permanent Head Damage, or in short PhD. This article (pdf) discusses the pros and cons of doing a PhD in the computers science area. Nevermind the focus of the article it is still a good read for every single lost soul who thinks about whether to do it or not.
